As a Roland synth lover, I appreciate this video, but I thought the System-8 would've sounded way better than this considering how many zealots exist for this synth. It doesn't sound that great at all tbh; nothing new or special here sonically. I think Roland has better things out than this.

Why did you buy it if you don't like it? This isn't supposed to be the original Oberheim. It's a completely different instrument, similar in sound to the Oberheim. Why do I care if the keyboard flaps? Plastic knobs and so what? In this price range it is a very good instrument that offers me 16 voices! Spend a few thousand bucks more, buy an original Oberheim and stop complaining that this instrument is bad 🤬 

They're not flooding the market. These are prototypes and synths in development. Obviously they want the public's appraisal to see what people are interested in and which direction the market is going in. Most of them are pretty exciting. There is definitely not 50 going into production straight away. Remember this also includes drum machines. Frankly, I think Behringer is killing it and I praise the fact that they're committed to new R & D. If Moog did the same, they'd still have a decent market share.

Oh My Gawd, I heard some clipping! I’m super triggered, probably traumatized!

Can make more alien sounds then many synthesizers. Mixed feelings about the filters, I like them plenty, but if I'm trying to just get one polysynth, I might be too tempted by an OB-6 or TEO. I'd love if we could see the filter cards become standard, like the CODE-8 was using.

Cheap “lip” solution … Use single sided adhesive foam or rubber tape to bring the level up on bottom shelf. That will also reduce tendencies to slide.

On the use of reverb, it is really dependant on the artist and the song. Reverb is indeed a powerful thing. Sometimes it sounds cool when overdone...but only sparingly if you catch my drift.

The presets are terrible. However, I've seen people do wonderful things with this synth. I'd definitely love to have it in my arsenal.

I just heard this, lolz, it sounds horrible. Someone did a demo with a unit they had shipped, I am so glad I have not invested further into and B products. There is nothing on their scheduled release that inspires me to open my wallet. People go ooo and err for some of their gear, it it just does not sound like the unit's they're trying to emulate. I am glad you dodge a bullet with your UBXa issues and got your money back.

Hey someone is obsessed about what you own and what you have bought, I mean the same person is saying that the Rev 2 sounds better than the MoogOne, they're not even in the same league so I guess this person must be jealous of what you own and your success? I just find it weird that their channel is dedicated to you, it's almost like they're constantly stalking you? Anyways, hope to see some more demos, and as you say, stay calm and synth on!!!

I have a Qiamtim MK I. It's great for sound design, is very versatile and sounds great. Unfortunately, the analog filter is mono, which spoils the stereo image. This major flaw is not fixed in the Mk.2 In fact, the only major change for the Mk.2 is the Polyphonic aftertouch. This is nice to have, but the Mk,1 respomds to MPE, so you can just use a different controller. I love the Quamtum, but it's expensive for what it is, especially compared to an Iridium or Hydrasynth Deluxe.

Wow I can't believe someone is jealous all because you got this fantastic synth. Not something I would buy, but it sounds brilliant, never shrill, if having the choice, I'd get this over that PB12 which sounds pretty thin tbh. All the demos don't do it justice like your vid does with your new baby. Congrats.

Oh wow! I'm actually surprised you chose the Quantum over the 3rd Wave, especially considering the fact you already have an Iridium. Nice synth! It is very deep!!!!!

Someone made a video saying you were buying a Mini D, saying that you were going to complete the Moog collection, from what I know, you don't have many Moog synths, 1 only? SO why would you buy an over priced Mini D when you have a Trigon 6 which does more for less? Anyways, they deleted that vid considering it was just an embarrassing attempt to cover up that they spent too much for so little. I just got insider info that your new synth is a Model D.
